The Castello di Proceno is a 12th century fortress with a pentagonal base that incorporates a main tower and two secondary towers interconnected by walkways and a drawbridge. The complex includes a fort that is attached on one side to the Castle by the town's defensive walls. This is the section where the apartments Primavera, Estate and Autunno are located.

They were obtained by the complete restoration of this part of the original fortification of the Castle of the lords of Proceno, of whom the current owners are direct descendants. The originality of the apartments offered is that, although they all have a common access from the centre of Proceno, each one is completely independent, with its own private garden area
offering views over the surrounding countryside and the Castle grounds. Part of the complex includes an internal medieval courtyard around which the apartments Il Chiostrino, Il Corsetto, La Loggetta, and La Bicocca are located. The owners are very friendly and are willing to extend their hospitality to a visit of the Castle and its private grounds.
