{"id":199,"date":"2016-03-15T13:37:36","date_gmt":"2016-03-15T12:37:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/castello.webag.it\/en\/accoglienza\/appartamenti\/"},"modified":"2020-02-17T16:44:21","modified_gmt":"2020-02-17T15:44:21","slug":"apartments","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.castellodiproceno.it\/en\/hospitality\/apartments\/","title":{"rendered":"Apartments"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Its pentagonal base incorporates a main tower and two secondary towers interconnected by walkways and a drawbridge that is one of 19 still working in Italy.<\/p>\n<p>A fort attached to one side of the castle by the town&#8217;s defensive walls now houses three apartments, <a href=\"\/en\/apartments\/primavera\/\"><span class=\"link\">Primavera<\/span><\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"\/en\/apartments\/estate\/\"><span class=\"link\">Estate<\/span><\/a>, and <a href=\"\/en\/apartments\/autunno\/\"><span class=\"link\">Autunno<\/span><\/a>. Although they share a common access and a path through the gardens to the swimming pool, each one is completely independent and has its own private outdoor area from which guests may enjoy the peace and the beauty of the surrounding countryside.<br \/>\nAnother part of the complex includes a medieval courtyard around which are the apartments <a href=\"\/en\/apartments\/chiostrino\/\"><span class=\"link\">Chiostrino<\/span><\/a>, <a href=\"\/en\/apartments\/corsetto\/\"><span class=\"link\">Corsetto<\/span><\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"\/en\/apartments\/loggia\/\"><span class=\"link\">Loggia<\/span><\/a>, and <a href=\"\/en\/apartments\/bicocca\/\"><span class=\"link\">Bicocca<\/span><\/a> and the rooms <a href=\"\/en\/suite\/caciaia\/\">Caciaia<\/a>, <a href=\"\/en\/suite\/collinella\/\">Collinella<\/a> and <a href=\"\/en\/suite\/poggiolo\/\">Poggiolo<\/a>, located in a tower of the old defensive wall. The apartments are connected to the pool area by an ancient tunnel under the castle.<\/p>\n<p>In warm weather, guests enjoy swimming in the pool or lounging in the gardens. Situated just outside the castle ramparts, the swimming pool sits in spacious grounds of wide panoramic terraces connected to the tower gardens by lovely paths through a stand of beautiful cypress trees. In cooler weather, guests enjoy sitting in front of their own fire. All the apartments and suites have a fireplace well stocked with wood.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-647\" src=\"http:\/\/castello.webag.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/appartamenti-autunno-castello.jpg\" alt=\"appartamenti-autunno-castello\" width=\"847\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.castellodiproceno.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/appartamenti-autunno-castello.jpg 847w, https:\/\/www.castellodiproceno.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/appartamenti-autunno-castello-300x71.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.castellodiproceno.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/appartamenti-autunno-castello-150x35.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.castellodiproceno.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/appartamenti-autunno-castello-210x50.jpg 210w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 847px) 100vw, 847px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Relaxed but intimate meals are served in the <a href=\"\/en\/food-and-wine\/wine-bar\/\"><span class=\"link\">Enoteca<\/span><\/a> in the winter or in the restaurant, in the dining room or on the covered loggia, in the summer. With its large fireplace dominating the dining room, the Enoteca, located in the old wine cellar of the castle, is a warm and cosy spot to enjoy the castle&#8217;s excellent food. In a restored ancient barn overlooking the pool, the <a href=\"\/en\/food-and-wine\/restaurant\/\"><span class=\"link\">restaurant<\/span><\/a> offers diners an opportunity to savour outstanding food and wine while immersing themselves in the peace and beauty of the surrounding countryside.
