Beautiful and massive, Il Giulione is the result of the total restoration of the former hunting lodge of the lords of Castello di Proceno.

Beautiful and massive, Il Giulione is the result of the total restoration of the former hunting lodge of the lords of Castello di Proceno. Sitting on a hilltop in the middle of an area dear to the Etruscans the house looks out over the serene and peaceful Tuscian countryside, where vestiges of Etruscan culture still exist.
Accommodation
Il Giulione has two kitchens, a breakfast room, a large living/dining room, a living room, a study with a double sofa bed, three double bedrooms, two bedrooms with either double or twin beds, and 6 modern bathrooms, all with bidets. Although the house has several entrances, the main entrance is from the side of the house through a hall with vaulted ceiling. From this hall a flight of stairs leads up to the first floor.

Ground floor To the right of the entrance hall is a completely separateapartment. You enter the apartment into a study with a double sofa bed. From the study, a hall leads to a complete bathroom with shower stall and to a dining room with a kitchen corner that is fully equipped with gas range, microwave and fridge. A door in the dining room/kitchen opens to the outside. To the left of the entrance hall is a spacious, 70-square-metre, open-plangreat room with a large fireplace. A series of arches divides the area into living and dining areas, in the middle of which is a panoramic glass door opening out onto a spectacular view of the countryside. The dining area opens into a hall, with on the right a complete bathroom with shower, designed to accommodate guests in wheelchairs. On the left from the hall is a spacious outside paved and covered portico with fireplace, barbecue and large dining table. At the end of the hall is the proper kitchen, which is fully equipped with gas range, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher and fridge with freezer. Through an open archway in the kitchen is a breakfast room. A door in the kitchen leads to the garden.

First floor At the top of the stairs that lead from the entrance hall to the first floor is a double bedroom on the left. From this bedroom, a short hallway leads to a complete bathroom with shower stall. Also off the hallway is a study with stairs leading up to an open, twin-bedded room under the roof—an ideal room for children. The study opens onto a corridor that circles around the staircase and leads back to the first floor landing.

From the right of the landing, a corridor leads to a living room with an open-hearth fireplace. To the left of the living room is a double bedroom with a complete en suite bathroom on two levels: the upper level, reached by a few steps, has a washbasin and bathtub; the lower level, reached from a walk-in closet, has a washbasin and toilet. To the right of the living room is a spacious room with either twin- or double-beds and its own ensuite bathroom with shower stall. A door in this bedroom opens back into the corridor. At the end of the corridor is a double bedroom with minibar and en suite bathroom with bathtub.

Impeccably furnished, the house offers a series of amenities:
