From A1 – exit Orvieto:
Leave Autostrada A1, keeping to the right. After 1 km keep to the right again, following the direction. After 100 meters turn left. Keep the right and drive under the railway; you will continue on to the traffic-lights and carry on towards Orvieto. At next intersection keep to the right towards Castel Viscardo, Castel Giorgio, Allerona, Acquapendente.
After 3 kms you will reach another intersection: turn right and continue on towards Castel Giorgio and Allerona. After 200 meters turn left towards Castel Giorgio and Castel Viscardo.
After 4 kms you will reach another intersection: turn left towards Viceno. After 5 kms turn left, following signs for Castel Giorgio. After 1 km turn right towards Acquapendente. After 2,5 kms you will reach an intersection: turn left towards Acquapendente. After 8 kms at the intersection turn left towards Siena; skirt Acquapendente continuing on for 4 kms; then you will reach another intersection: turn left for Proceno.
After 3 kms you will reach an intersection with a church in the middle; turn right towards Castellazzara. After 700 meters you will negotiate a sharp elbow curve that leads you into Proceno. Drive under the ancient portal and stop at number 155 of Corso Regina Margherita
The distance between Orvieto and Proceno is about 35 kms and it will take you about 40 minutes.
